Marta Kisiliczyk was born in Wrocław, but grew up in Bolesławiec. She is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków, where she obtained a diploma in painting and artistic textiles.

She lived in London for over 10 years, where she travelled to reach an international audience with her work and to establish herself in one of the most important art markets in the world. She has spent the last few years travelling to different corners of the world, discovering new landscapes and tuning her senses to perceive all the richness of the natural world, which has long since become the main theme of her work. She currently divides her time between Europe and Southeast Asia, which has become a second home for her for some time.

The characteristic texture of her paintings is certainly an important element of her work, but the artist herself claims that it is the colours and dynamics that make her paintings original. Marta Kisiliczyk paints through her emotions with the aim of creating a specific understanding, a relationship between her work and its audience.

For years, her paintings have been exhibited at London’s most popular art fair, the London Affordable Art Fair, as well as at such prestigious exhibitions as the London Art Fair and the London Art Biennale. They can be found in art galleries in the UK, Italy and other European countries. They are part of many international art collections in the UK, the Netherlands, Italy, Austria, Poland and South Africa.

In 2018. Marta Kisiliczyk received an invitation to participate in the prestigious Chianciano Art Biennale in Tuscany, where she won first prize, awarded by the International Association of Art Critics. In 2019, she was honoured in Rome with the International Prize Michelangelo ” for her revealed artistic talent, a testimony of immense creativity”.
