Periodical published by the Museum of Ceramics since 2008. Editors: Edmund Maliński, Anna Bober-Tubaj, Grzegorz Matoryn. Since 2011, Prof. Grzegorz Strauchold has been the editiorial reviewer. The publication is dedicated to the history and present day of Bolesławiec. It includes the following sections: Research on the history of Bolesławiec, Articles and materials on local topics, The creative activity of contemporary citizens, Memoirs of citizens, Passions of citizens, In memoriam, Bolesławiec Chronicle, Reviews and discussions.

In 2006, the Municipality of Bolesławiec announced the first edition of the “Award of the Mayor of Bolesławiec for the best master’s or doctoral thesis on the history and present of Bolesławiec, defended at all state and non-state universities in Poland and abroad”. Higher education institutions may submit any number of master’s or doctoral theses to the competition, considered by the dean of the faculty to be creative, innovative and deserving widespread dissemination. The highest rated work in a given edition, in addition to the financial prize, receives a distinction in the form of being published in print. The Museum of Ceramics, which is the publisher of the works awarded, has created the Boleslaviana series, initiated as early as the 1990s with a publication on Martin Opitz.

The series is the result of the “Save from Oblivion” programme, under which young people from Bolesławiec schools write down memories of subsequent groups of emigrants who came to the Bolesławiec region in the 1940s and 1950s – to be published as a book. The project has been implemented since 2013 by the Junior High School No. 2 and the Museum of Ceramics, in cooperation with other Bolesławiec schools and the following associations: the Association of the Expelled to Siberia (Bolesławiec Branch), the Association of Lovers of Lviv and Southeastern Borderlands (Bolesławiec Branch), the Association of Polish-French Cooperation in Wrocław and the Association of Re-emigrants from Bosnia, their descendants and friends.

The series includes 4 comprehensive catalogues produced under a research project implemented by the Museum of Ceramics in 2007-2014. The interdisciplinary research involved museums and institutions from all over Europe and resulted in international exhibitions and accompanying catalogues.
