The church was mentioned for the first time in 1270 when Duke Konrad I passed the then-existing chapel to the Hospital of the Holy Spirit. In the present building, the presbytery part dates back to the 13th century, while the main nave and tower part were erected in the 14th-16th centuries. Especially interesting is the group of the Raussendorf family’s gravestones as well as the main altar depicting Our Lady of the Rosary and St Dominic. The altar and some furnishings were brought here in 1810 from the former Dominican monastery.
