Zakłady Ceramiczne "BOLESłAWIEC"

Ceramic Works “BOLESŁAWIEC” is the oldest post-war plant producing Bolesławiec ceramics in the city – its beginnings date back to 1946. The company, located at 11 Kościuszki Street, employs several hundred people and is currently one of the largest enterprises of its kind in the region. The factory’s offer includes mainly utility crockery, referring to both classic designs and modern trends. The assortment is complemented by kitchen accessories and interior design elements

The company’s wide range of products is the work of recognised designers: Janina Bany-Kozłowska, Danuta Amborska, Barbara Kozłowska-Trojnar and Marta Małoszyc. Between 100 and 150 new decoration designs are created every year, so that ZC “Bolesławiec” has more than 1800 decoration patterns, including unique and exclusive ones, representing the highest artistic level. The most characteristic of the factory is pattern 166A in cobalt colour, made using stamps with a circle and flower motif, and the company’s showpieces include the “Alice” coffee and tea set and the “Alice” dinner set, as well as sets of platters and bowls.

The products of ZC “Bolesławiec” have been presented at prestigious reviews at home and abroad, winning many awards and distinctions. They can be found in the collections of Polish and foreign museums. They are present on the markets of almost all of Europe, as well as North America, Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
