Ceramika “Anna”

Ceramika “Anna” is a manufacturer of Bolesławiec ceramics based in Łaziska. The company, run by professional technologists, was initially engaged in the sale of ceramic masses, only in 2018 did it start making its own ceramics. Despite a staff of only a few people, it carries out the full production process on its own, from mould preparation to decoration and firing.

The offer of Ceramika “Anna” is dominated by utility ceramics, complemented by interior design elements. Customers are particularly interested in cobalt decorations in several editions, including those with lace and floral meadow motifs. The factory’s products find their way to foreign markets, including the Netherlands and Russia.

Ceramika „Arkadia”

The company has been operating in Nowe Jaroszowice since 2016. Its showpiece, based on the owner’s many years of painting experience, are unique decorations made using traditional methods with stamps and brushes, including standard, unique and exclusive ones.

The workshop offers dozens of functional ceramic forms and more than 80 decorative designs, which were presented for the first time in a wider range at the Bolesławiec Ceramics Festival 2016.

"Ceramika Artystyczna" Spółdzielnia Rękodzieła Artystycznego

“Ceramika Artystyczna” Spółdzielnia Rękodzieła Artystycznego (Artistic Ceramics Handicraft Cooperative) started its activity in 1950 on Polna Street, in the buildings of the pre-war Julius Paul ceramics factory. Initially, the plant functioned within the structures of the Folk and Artistic Industry Headquarters. In 1990, the company was relocated to the premises at 23 T. Kościuszki St. Today, the plant, expanded and equipped with the latest technology for ceramics production, provides employment for several hundred people, which places it among the largest in the area.

The company’s products are highly valued for their quality and design. In addition to utility crockery, they include jewellery, furniture handles, cutting boards, figurines and sushi sets, which are extremely popular on Asian markets.

The dishes currently on offer were designed in terms of form by Bronisław Wolanin, artistic director and chief designer from 1964 to 2012, and Mariusz Ochocki, who has held this position since 2012. Among the most distinguished decorators are Maria Ciszewska, Anna Pasierbiewicz, Teresa Liana, Maria Starzyk, Maryla Iwicka, Irena Mączka and Jacek Chyła. The factory currently offers 1,400 ceramic forms and over 7,000 decorations signed by 24 designers.

The cooperative’s products have won many awards and distinctions at home and abroad. The company exports them to 27 countries worldwide. Some products have found their way into the collections of Polish national museums. In addition, they are eagerly used by film set designers, not only in Poland, but also abroad. The cooperative also carries out orders for the needs of various organisations and institutions, including the American CIA. It is also worth recalling that it made the service for serving the meal on board the plane on which Pope John Paul II flew from Poland to Rome in 1997.

Ceramika Artystyczna “Wiza”

The company was founded in 1963 and operates in Parowa, in a modernised building once owned by the Kuno Steinmann porcelain concern. Initially small, the factory concentrated on the production of small utility products. Over time, the range was expanded to include coffee services decorated with cobalt and gold.

Today, the company offers, among other things, table and kitchen ceramics as well as articles of an occasional and haberdashery nature – a total of more than 400 forms. The catalogue of decorations currently includes 167 designs divided into several categories: folk, artistic, occasional, traditional and unique.

“Wiza” annually takes part in numerous national and international fairs and exhibitions, including in Munich, Siegburg, Frankfurt and Vilnius, winning many medals and awards. It exports its products to countries in Europe, Asia, South America and Australia.

Ceramika Bolesławiecka “Kalich” was founded in 2001.Originally located in Czerna, the company moved in 2014 to a modern plant on Hutnicza Street in Bolesławiec, using the building of the pre-war Deutsche Keramik Carl Schumann jr. factory.

The company offers more than 600 forms – table sets, kitchenware and decorative items. Its hallmark is rich artistic decoration, often produced in limited series. More than 500 decoration designs have been developed in-house. The company exports its products to, among others, Japan, China, South Korea, Germany, France, the Czech Republic, the UK, Canada, Taiwan and Russia. It is also present on the American market thanks to, among others, its cooperation with the Uno Alla Volta catalogue, which brings unique, handmade products from all over the world to the United States. The “Kalich” brand products have been awarded at national and international fairs and exhibitions.

“Cerkaz” is a family business operating on the ceramics market since 2017. The owners of the plant located in Osła have 30 years of experience in the industry. The company’s offer includes table ceramics, home decoration items, occasional and personalised products.

The showpiece of the factory are unique artistic brush paintings, among which spatial floral and animal motifs are particularly popular. The catalogue of decorations also includes traditional patterns made using the stamping method.

Ceramika “Czaja-Sobieraj”

Ceramika “Czaja-Sobieraj” is a family business established in 1987, located on Leśna Street in Bolesławiec. Initially it was engaged in the production of small products of folk character, whose forms and decorations were certified by the National Artistic and Ethnographic Commission.
The factory offers 800 forms, mainly utility vessels and decorative elements. Among them, the most characteristic products are ceramic whistles in the shape of birds and ocarinas. The company offers traditional as well as unique and artistic decorations. It exports its products to Russia, the United States, Canada, Belgium, Germany, Japan and Korea. In addition to its manufacturing activities, the company runs workshops and educational activities.
